Health Guarantee
At Misty Pines Kennel, we guarantee that this puppy will be in good health at the time of the sale. The puppy will be up to date with his vaccinations and dewormed for his age. The puppy will also be micro chipped and treated with Revolution. We ask that you please take caution as to where you take your new puppy until the entire series of puppy shots has been given, which is usually around 16 weeks. For the sake of your puppy, please avoid dog parks, rest areas and pet stores. Altho’ we realize everyone wants to show off their new puppy, it is the best for your puppy’s health to avoid these places until fully immunized. We stand behind our puppies with a two year genetic guarantee from the date of sale.
If there is a genetic defect that appears in the two year health guarantee period, we will either replace the puppy with another puppy of equal value, or will give a full refund of the purchase price of the puppy. In this case, we will require a letter of diagnosis from your vet, along with his/her phone number. Misty Pines kennel will have the option of having the diagnosis confirmed by a vet of their choice before a refund is issued. In the event of a puppy replacement, we will assume no shipping costs.
We, the sellers at Misty Pines Kennel, will not be responsible for any veterinarian costs/bills or shipping/transportation costs that occur after the puppy has left the premises of Misty Pines Kennel.
While at Misty Pines Kennel, our dogs/puppies are fed “4Strong Paws” dog food and we highly recommend that you continue to feed your puppy this dog food. See Food & Nutrition for more information.
We also give our dogs/puppies NuVet Plus, which is an immune system builder, not just a vitamin. It is very important to keep your puppy on NuVet Plus as it transitions to a new home and while it is growing. Due to the varying kinds of food and different environmental conditions the puppies come in contact with; and the fact that all puppies have immune systems that take time to mature, the terms of this guarantee will not be honoured unless they are given NuVet Plus immune system builder, as directed by the manufacturer, for the entire guarantee period. Failure to do so will render this guarantee null and void except where prohibited by law. We also highly recommend you to continue to give your pet NuVet Plus beyond the guarantee period to promote optimal health for a lifetime.
Our puppies are sold with Limited Registration ( no breeding rights) unless it has been discussed and agreed upon in advance by the owner/buyer. The puppy must be spayed/neutered by the end of the 11th month, with proof of being sent to the breeder by 12 months old.
The health guarantee does not cover for any accidents, negligent, or behavioral problems or poisoning.
The health guarantee does not cover for parasites, coccidia or an easily treated illness, after the puppy has left the premises. ( some of this can be brought on by the stress of the puppy being rehomed).
The health guarantee is void if the puppy/dog is transferred to a new owner.

Guarantee is void if it is not returned with the buyers signature within 45 days from date of sale. Please keep a copy for your records.
